Malba Birifor New Testament (BFOBSB)

Overview

The Malba Birifor New Testament (1993) is the first translation of the New Testament into the Malba Birifor language, published by the Bible Society of Burkina Faso. [1] Malba Birifor is a Gur (Voltaic) language closely related to Dagara, spoken primarily in the southwestern region of Burkina Faso and also in northwestern Ghana. [2] The translation brought Scripture to a community that previously had no written New Testament in their mother tongue, and it remains available through digital platforms including Faith Comes By Hearing and YouVersion.
