Overview
The Bugun New Testament (titled “Iwo Surua Mua Wie Pha Bible”) is the first Scripture translation in the Bugun language, published in 2018 by The Word for the World International in partnership with NECTAR (North East Centre for Training and Research), based in Shillong, Meghalaya. [1][2] Bugun (also called Khowa) is a critically endangered Kho-Bwa language spoken by approximately 900 people of the Bugun tribe in the Tenga valley area of West Kameng district, Arunachal Pradesh.
