Overview

The Bimin New Testament, titled “Sunbin-Got em Kitakamin Weng,” contains the New Testament and portions of the Old Testament in the Bimin language of Papua New Guinea. [1] It was published in 2008 by the Bible Society of Papua New Guinea, with the translation carried out by Wycliffe Bible Translators. [2] Bimin is a Trans-New Guinea language spoken in the mountainous interior of the Sandaun (West Sepik) and Western Provinces. The translation is available under a Creative Commons Attribution-No Derivatives 4.0 license, enabling broad distribution through digital platforms. [2]
