Overview
The New Testament in Daai Chin, titled Dai Cangcim Kthai, was published in 2018 by The Word for the World International and the North East Centre for Training and Research. [1] The Daai (also called Dai) are a small, majority-Christian people of approximately 30,000 living in the Chin Hills of Myanmar. [2] The Word for the World is an indigenous-led Bible translation organization that works through local churches, focusing on empowering nationals to carry out translation for their own language communities. [2] The New Testament was launched in January 2019. [2] The translation is distributed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 license. [1]
