New Testament in Juray Soura (JUYWFW)
Overview
The New Testament in Juray Soura was published in 2020 by The Word for the World International and the Juray Soura Translation Samithi, Gajapati, Odisha. Juray is a severely endangered Munda language of the Sora-Juray-Gorum subgroup, spoken in Gajapati district of southern Odisha. [1] Some linguists consider Juray a dialect of Sora that has been heavily influenced by Odia, though it is treated as a distinct language by Ethnologue (ISO 639-3: juy). [1] This translation serves the Juray-speaking community in their own linguistic variety using the Odia script.
