Overview

The Kimaragang New Testament is a 1996 translation of the New Testament into the Kimaragang language, published by Wycliffe Bible Translators. The Kimaragang (also called Maragang) are an indigenous Dusunic people of Sabah, eastern Malaysia on the island of Borneo, residing primarily in the Kota Marudu and Pitas districts of Kudat Division. [1] Kimaragang is classified as one of the Dusunic languages within the broader Kadazandusun ethnolinguistic grouping of Sabah. [1] Wycliffe Malaysia has partnered with Malaysian churches to run translation projects for indigenous language communities in the region, seeking to provide Scripture to the many people groups in Malaysia who do not yet have the Bible in their heart language.
