Krung Bible

Krung Bible (KRRWBT)

Overview

The Krung Bible contains New Testament portions in the Krung language of Cambodia, written in the Khmer script. The translation took approximately 35 years to complete and was dedicated on February 11, 2024 in the village of Krala, Cambodia, with over 1,000 people in attendance. [1] The celebration included music, prayer, Scripture reading, testimonies, and preaching. [2] Krung community leaders noted that having Scripture in their own language enables clearer comprehension compared to reading in Khmer, the national language. [2] The translation was produced by Wycliffe Bible Translators, Inc.
