Kunimaipa New Testament (KUPTBL)
Overview
The Kunimaipa New Testament, titled Bainetinavoz Tep Tokatit, is a translation of the New Testament into the Kunimaipa language of Papua New Guinea. [1] The translation was completed by Wycliffe Bible Translators and first published in 1989, with a revised edition copyrighted in 2002. [1] Kunimaipa is a Trans-New Guinea language spoken in the Goilala area of Central Province, Papua New Guinea, by approximately 8,200 people. [2] The translation represents the first Scripture rendering in the Kunimaipa language.
