Overview

The Mayogo New Testament was completed and dedicated in March 2015 in northeastern DR Congo. MAF’s Cessna Caravan flew church leaders and guests to the villages of Todro and Isiro for the dedication ceremonies. [1] Mayogo is spoken by approximately 100,000 people in the northeastern Democratic Republic of the Congo. The translation was a project of SIL International and Wycliffe Bible Translators, with the involvement of Nguway Abusa Jean and Neisa Theophile among others in the translation work.
