Overview
The Makhuwa-Meetto New Testament is a translation for the Makhuwa-Meetto speaking people of northern Mozambique, primarily in Cabo Delgado and Niassa provinces. The copyright is held by Wycliffe Bible Translators (dated 2009), with The Word for the World International as a contributing organization. [1] The translation was produced by the Promeetto Association in Balama, Cabo Delgado, in cooperation with local churches, Wycliffe Bible Translators, and The Seed Company. [1] Makhuwa-Meetto is spoken by approximately 1.7 million people. [1]
