Mongolian New Translation (MONAKK)
Overview
The Mongolian New Translation (Shine Orchuulga) is a complete Bible in traditional Mongolian vertical script, published in 2020 by Akihide Kitamura through ThruSteppes. [1] Kitamura, a Japanese missionary to Mongolia, earlier produced a meaning-based New Testament published in 1998, with a revised edition in 2005. [2] This translation uses the traditional Mongolian script (Mongol bichig), distinct from the Cyrillic script used by other Mongolian Bible translations.
