The New Testament in Nahali was published in 2020 by The Word for the World International and Nahali Vishwaseen Mandli (Nahali Believers’ Assembly) in Toranmal, Dhadgaon, Nandurbar, Maharashtra. Nahali (also known as Nihali) is a language isolate — not definitively related to any other language family — spoken in the Toranmal region of Nandurbar district, Maharashtra. [1][2] Estimates of the number of speakers vary widely, from approximately 2,500 to 15,000. [1]
