Overview

The Ngindo New Testament (Ngindo Mumajandiko Gachwapi) was completed in 2015 by The Word for the World. [1] The Ngindo language is spoken by approximately 171,000 people in southeastern Tanzania. The translation was one of ten Tanzanian minority-language projects launched between 2004 and 2008 through a partnership between Pioneer Bible Translators and The Word for the World, with start-up costs provided by TWFTW. [2]
