The New Testament in Kaulong

The New Testament in Kaulong (PSSBIV)

Overview

The New Testament in Kaulong was completed in 2015 by Bibles International, which adopted the project in 2004. [1] Missionaries Craig and Linda Throop, who ministered among the Kaulong people on the southwestern coast of New Britain for over 30 years, led the translation effort. [1] The project encompassed both Kaulong language development and Scripture translation. Following completion, 1,000 copies of the Kaulong New Testament were distributed to believers in the region. [1] In 2019, the literacy team printed 500 copies of a language learning primer along with readers on Creation and the life of Joseph and a Bible reading guide. [1]
