Bedik - Münik New Testament (TNRNTM)
Overview
The New Testament in Ménik (Bedik/Münik) was published in 2015 by Ethnos 360 (formerly New Tribes Mission), with a dedication celebration held in September 2015. [1] Bible portions had been available since 1997. [2] The translation was led by Ethnos 360 missionaries Ken and Kathy Satorius, working with Budik believers including Eme and Pityan. [1] NTM missionaries were the first to develop a written form for the language; a new orthography was devised in 2004 and became official in 2005. [3] The Budik people live in the Kédougou region of southeastern Senegal.
