Overview
The Umbu-Ungu Andelale 1998 Edition is a New Testament translation in the Andelale dialect of the Umbu-Ungu language, spoken in the highlands of Papua New Guinea. The translation was completed and copyrighted in 1998 by Wycliffe Bible Translators. [1] Umbu-Ungu (also known as Kaugel) has multiple dialects, and separate New Testament translations were also produced for the No Penge and Kala dialects. [2] The Andelale dialect is one of three major dialect groupings within the language, the others being No Penge and the Awa-Kakoli group.
