Overview
The Bible in Zaramo is a New Testament translation in the Kizalamo language, spoken by approximately 657,000 Zaramo people in Tanzania. The translation was produced by Pioneer Bible Translators in partnership with The Word for the World International, with copyright dated 2019. [1] The Zaramo people live primarily in the coastal region of Tanzania around Dar es Salaam. This New Testament is part of Pioneer Bible Translators’ East Africa Branch work, which has completed New Testament translations and Scripture portions in several minority languages of Tanzania. [2] The translation is released under a Creative Commons Attribution Share-Alike 4.0 license. [1]
