Overview

The Rincón Zapotec New Testament was first published in 1971, making it one of the earliest Zapotec Scripture translations. Rincón Zapotec, also known as Northern Villa Alta Zapotec, is spoken by approximately 29,200 people in the Villa Alta District of the Sierra Norte region of Oaxaca, Mexico. The translation was produced through SIL International and originally published by La Liga Bíblica. A revised edition appeared around 2007–2009. [1]
