Zigua New Testament (ZIWWFW)

Overview

The Zigua (Zigula) New Testament was published in 2014 by The Word for the World and Pioneer Bible Translators for the Zigua-speaking community of Tanzania. [1] The Zigua are a Bantu people living primarily in northern Pwani Region and western Tanga Region. [2] This translation was part of a cluster of ten Tanzanian translation projects launched between 2006 and 2007, with The Word for the World providing start-up funding. [1]

Zigula (ISO 639-3: ziw) is spoken by approximately 442,000 people in Tanzania. [Glottolog: zigu1242]
