Yemen, officially the Republic of Yemen, is a country located on the southern tip of the Arabian Peninsula in Western Asia. Yemen operates as a republic with a semi-presidential system. The economy is one of the poorest in the Middle East, primarily based on agriculture, oil, and remittances. However, the country has been facing a severe humanitarian crisis due to ongoing conflicts and political instability.
