Morocco

Morocco, officially the Kingdom of Morocco, is a country located in North Africa. It is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea to the west and north, Algeria to the east, and Western Sahara to the south. Covering an area of approximately 710,850 square kilometers, it has a population of about 36 million people as of 2023. The capital city is Rabat, and the largest city is Casablanca. The official languages are Arabic and Berber, with French widely used in business and government. Morocco operates as a unitary parliamentary constitutional monarchy, with King Mohammed VI as head of state. The economy is diverse, with key sectors including agriculture, mining, manufacturing, and tourism. Morocco is known for its rich cultural heritage, historic cities, and diverse landscapes ranging from beaches to mountains and deserts.
